‚ÄčA stable country in a troubled region, Jordan offers a unique opportunity for research and work in mental health, particularly with traumatized populations. Collaborating with multiple Jordanian organizations, we hope to study and develop mental health services in the Middle East. Our partners include:

  1. Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) Family Medicine Program - medical school which aims to train students and improve the health of Jordan
  2. Jordanian Ministry of Health Unit - an organization which seeks efficient, equitable and quality health care in the country of Jordan
  3. World Health Organization (WHO) Amman Office - coordination of international health in United Nations system
  4. United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) - providing safety and protection for refugees
  5. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Amman Office - protecting rights and safety of refugees through advocacy, assistance and emergency response
  6. International Medical Corps (IMC) - dedicated to relieving suffering through healthcare training and services worldwide
