The Department of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and invites applications for one or more faculty positions interested in an academic career involving the practice and teaching of full spectrum family medicine to medical students and residents. Demonstration of scholarly interests will be expected. Rank of appointment will be based on skills and qualifications of the candidate.
Candidates are expected to show evidence of outstanding qualifications through letters of recommendation, teaching evaluations, and patient satisfaction assessments. Responsibilities may include inpatient care and obstetrics. Applicants must have completed a certified family Medicine residency training program, be board certified in family medicine, and eligible for licensure in California. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership or a commitment to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in an academic setting.
