Dr. Nas Rafi graduated from Medical College of Georgia and did her undergraduate work at UCLA in Philosophy. She is a published poet with numerous publications prior to medical school. She recently completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at UCSD in 2014 during which time she presented and published research and wrote two book chapters. She sits on the UCSD Medical Ethics committee and is a member of the San Diego County Bioethics Commission. She is currently the inaugural fellow in Biomedical Ethics at UCSD. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to the dog beach with her pup and wine tasting.
