Brain development

The genes and networks that we study often have their primary expression in brain development. We use a combination of in vivo labeling, molecular biology, anatomical, and behavioral tools to assay the effects of genetic perturbations. Much of our work focuses on regions with stereotyped anatomy and clear behavioral consequences, such as the cerebellum.
