The Center for Healthy Aging and Stein Institute for Research on Aging offer many events designed to inform the public and professionals in allied fields on topics related to healthy aging.

Stein Public Lecture Series

How to keep your brain healthy? How to stay fit as we age? Alzheimer's treatments: what is on horizon?

Learn more from our distinguished speakers as they discuss the latest advances in research on aging. The Stein Public Lecture Series provides an opportunity for renowned researchers and clinicians to share their expertise on aging-related topics with the lay community. Multi-Professional Lectures

The Center for Healthy Aging offers this academic lecture series on a range of topics highlighting the work of scientists in varied disciplines, departments, and professional backgrounds and emphasizing the multi-dimensional nature of modern research in aging.

Think Tank Community Events

As part of our national Think Tank on Healthy Aging, we host community events to keep the public informed. The Think Tank is composed of a diverse group of world-renown multi-professional experts that work with policymakers and address the urgent needs of an aging society. Participants include cutting-edge researchers, technology experts, and leaders in academia. During the Think Tank Community Events our experts share some of the insights from their meetings.

The Frank Benedikt Roehr Memorial Lecture Series

The Frank Benedikt Roehr Memorial Lecture Series was established by Mr. Roehr’s daughter, Suzanne Angelucci, and is designed to inform the public of the newest areas of scientific investigations on topics associated with the power of humor and positive thinking that affect health and longevity.

Our most recent Roehr Memorial Lecture was on April 27th, 2016: "The Science of Laughter and Chocolate with Dr. Lee Berk and Chef Ryan Berk." Learn more about this lecture here.
