Twelve medical and pharmacy students supported through the UC San Diego Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) TL1 2016-2017 program presented their research in January during an annual Summer Research Poster Session at the Medical Education and Telemedicine Building. They joined more than 60 other research trainees at the event. This year, the ACTRI trainees included both summer and long-term TL1s. The TL1 program supports training in clinical research for students enrolled in health sciences doctoral programs at UC San Diego.
