Pilot Innovative Technology Projects - Innovative technology research is defined as projects that develop new technology to assess disease susceptibility, pathogenesis, or severity that could potentially be applicable to clinical research. Funding is not intended to support adaptation or modification of existing technology, such as flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISAs, etc. A particular focus on biomarker or imaging modalities is anticipated, such as novel proteomics techniques or new developing novel imaging agents. Projects should include a clinical researcher as co-investigator to assure disease relevance.
Proposals are not currently being accepted. Check back in Sept, 2011 for a new RFA.
