Ethics Education
The UC San Diego Research Ethics Program regularly offers a wide variety of courses, workshops, and seminars in research ethics, and more specialized topics including international research ethics, stem cell research ethics and survival in academia. These courses, as well as train-the-trainer programs for faculty are open to all CTRI researchers. Ethics faculty also lead seminars and guest lectures on an array of research ethics topics.
Human Research Protection Program Training
The UCSD HRPP program provides a variety of training opportunities to enable researchers to better understand the issues and regulations relevant to research involving human participants. These include:
REDCAP Training (UCSD Training Only)
The REDCap application allows users to build and manage online surveys and databases quickly and securely. There are a large number of users all across the country from a variety of disciplines. Many tested and validated research scales are already entered and available for use in REDCap.
