Short-Term ACTRI TL1 Training

The Short-term program consists of a mentored clinical research experience for a three-month period, typically during the summer. 

The ACTRI TL1 provides short-term training support for eight students. Students can be supported for three continuous months at the current NIH predoctoral stipend level. All students are expected to submit summaries of their projects by October 1 following their summer research, and to participate in a Poster Session in January. A small amount of support is available for each short-term student to support the costs of the poster and to provide partial support for travel to a meeting appropriate to the research field.

All abstracts and publications generated during this period of support must include the following acknowledgment:
