DISC Journal Club and Works in Progress
Mark the second Thursday of every month at 2pm PST to learn about D&I community updates, discuss D&I research topics, and share ways to build D&I capacity within the community. The next meeting will feature Lindsey Wade and David Mier on October 14th at 2:00pm PDT

David and Lindsey will lead a discussion around how the Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties develops their Community Health Needs Assessment and how local hospital leaders and policymakers use community data to clarify priorities. Please join us and expect a unique and rich discussion on how policymakers, public health and hospital leaders, and researchers can collaborate to create change. This workshop will be held on October 25th and 26th as a 2-day, virtual workshop where attendees will be educated regarding current funding opportunities for D&I research and feature presentations from public, private, national and international funding agencies.
