To acknowledge the increasing attention to dissemination and implementation research by the national and international research community and growing funding opportunities related to D&I, we organized a Dissemination and Implementation Research Summit on April 25-26, 2018 on UCSD campus with participation of 120+ colleagues from across multiple regional institutions and presentations from five national experts and funder in D&I science.
We organized the Dissemination and Implementation Research Summit in order to synthesize existing D&I-relevant activities and resources and create a coordinated agenda for future D&I efforts.
We saw the D&I Research Summit as the first step in the process of creating an active learning community around D&I Science with partners from all around our region.
As such, the goals of this D&I Research Summit were the following:
- Bring together various partners with interest in D&I science research and practice.
- Provide a basic overview of key D&I concepts
- Showcase existing work and resources for D&I at UCSD, VA, and SDSU.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration across various groups.
- Document needs for future D&I activities in the region and opportunities for broader presence on the national agenda.
On this webpage we provide access to materials and resources from the D&I Research Summit.
