We warmly welcome Graham Heberlig, PhD, our newest K12 postdoctoral trainee. Graham has joined the Burkart lab to study the structure of lipid A biosynthesis complexes.

We are proud to announce that one of our K12 postdoctoral sholars, Ryan Weiss, PhD, has recently accepted a new position as Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. We wish the best of luck to Professor Weiss in his new role and building a lab of his own! Check out his new lab website here.

The GRTC is an internationally recognized research unit with a 19-year track record of facilitating and enhancing research, training and collaboration among researchers who study the molecular and cellular biology of glycans and their roles in health and disease. GRTC members include faculty from academic institutions throughout California, with a vast range of research interests.
