Perdana University will serve as a platform for innovative world-class research in Southeast Asia.
Opportunities research exist in many areas, the most critical being diabetes, public health, bioinformatics, cardiovascular diseases, neuroscience, tropical diseases, cancer care and trauma.
In addition to the traditional funding sources available to UCSD faculty members, such as the NIH and private foundations, funding opportunities exist for collaborative projects through various agencies in Malaysia ranging from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Health and local private funding sources. Both the HSI team and the Perdana team have skilled and knowledgeable staff prepared to assist you in identifying relevant funding sources as well as with the preparation or required materials.
