Room Scheduling

The Health Sciences Room Scheduling office manages the allocation of Health Sciences teaching and conference space for more than 150 rooms on the SOM campus and the La Jolla & Hillcrest Medical Centers.

AV Services are managed by the UC Health Information Services.  Most rooms are equipped with the basic AV equipment (connections for computers, flat panel monitor OR projector with screen and microphones in the larger rooms).  Requests for AV equipment should only be necessary for any additional equipment not already available in the room.

Perform this step to determine if an AV request is needed:

  • Before, during or after reserving a room via the HS Room Scheduling website, check the AV equipment that exists in the room by clicking the linked room title - e.g., ACR (Conference Room) - to open the room details window and then click the "FEATURES" tab.

For AV needs outside of the room's standard equipment and for any additional AV services, please call 619-543-4357 or submit a ticket at the UC Health IS Help Desk. After login to that site, click these selections to request additional AV equipment/support: "Request Catalog" > "Service Request" > "General Request" form at bottom of page.  The group that handles these AV requests is named Interactive Media Technology.
